Paul Andrew - Shoes designer that you ought to know

今年非常吸引我注目的鞋履設計師非Paul Andrew莫屬！

這位今年才35歲的英藉駐美設計師由2012年開始成立自家品牌Paul Andrew 。
在成立個人品牌之前Paul Andrew在Donna Karen, Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen和Narciso Rodriguez工作過。而當中在Donna Karen更工作了差不多9年並且擔任為Vice President of Design, Shoes & Accessories (配飾鞋履設計副總裁)。

有人稱Paul Andrew是新一代的Manolo Blahnik。Paul Andrew設計的鞋是為女性設想，設計出舒適簡約有美感的鞋履。在英國the Guardian的訪問中Paul Andrew說到：

"My ideals are original design, impeccable quality, fit and comfort."。

Paul Andrew說過Donna Karen教了他fit and comfort，他是少數還自己親手製在鞋雛型的設計師。在Flare訪問中Paul Andrew說到：

“I know how to make the shoe fit and be comfortable. I’m actually one of the only designers that still hand makes the first heel prototype. I make the toe shapes and I hand cut all of the patents—I know where that line has to be in order to hold you in and fit and still be sexy.”

所有Paul Andrew的鞋都是在意大利由一級工匠人手製作，所以品質絕對有保證。
